Does anyone know if it's possible for DVT's to return when taking Warfarin and the INR is within the specified range?

If you think you have another one you should see a Doctor as soon as possible

I know some people need a higher INR and there are injections that might work better but most people manage on Warfarin

If you know your body and symptoms and think you are having another DVT go straight to A&E , but yes it is possible to have re-curring DVT's whilst in range on warfrin .

I'm one of those unlucky few that suffers with re-curring pe's whilst on warfrin I've had them in low range , in range and whilst high range too its all about learning your body and symptoms . Hope this helps

i have had issues with DVT's since 2007 it's now 2015 and i still have trouble. I went through a treatment called tinsaparin and warfarin. The first medication you inject intouch the belly around about 2" away from the belly button but you must alternate sites or you get bruising and the warfarin which apparently is rat poison but in small amounts is very helpful for humans with DVT's. To finish yes you can get problems even after medication but not always everyone is different. Hope that helps some people.
