Feeling better

So today is the first time in what feels like months that I've finally felt lighter and been able to breathe without my anxiety or possible depression trying to gnaw at me! And I just wanted to take the time to remind you all that if youre struggling right now, believe me when I say I know how hard it is but just remember that when one day seems like too much take it an hour, minute or second at a time and you can get through this! You're so much stronger than you believe right now and I know that in the moment your mind may tell you otherwise but you're still here, you're breathing and you'll get through this, it may not be today, or tomorrow but you can beat whatever youre facing and you'll never have to face it alone. That is probably one of the hardest things ive learnt, that even when I push people away because of depression or anxiety, the ones i love refuse to budge and though they may annoy me at the time I know its out of love they do what they do. So just take a breathe, and remember that we all believe in you! Just put one foot in front of the other and keep going forward, no matter how small your steps are. I hope this helps anyone who feels like they need a little pick me up or reminder that it truly does get better.

Thank you! I think it's always a nice reminder to everyone struggling that there is a light to it even if it doesnt seem it at that very moment. And this site is a great help for those struggling!

Can you think what got you into this better mood ???.

If so keep it in mind.

I think for me it was having my family just randomly give me hugs and waking up and planning my day in advance so i felt more in control of what was happening. A good hug and a daily organiser really do go along way for people with anxiety or who experience panic attacks. :)
