Anxiety UK runs a helpline on weekdays between 9.30am–5.30pm. Tel: 08444 775 774

Beat run a helpline for people experiencing an eating disorder. The telephone number for support and information is 0808 801 0677 open 3pm to 10pm, 365 days a year, or you can email help@beateatingdisorders.org.uk

BIpolar UK has an information and support line open weekdays, 9am - 5pm on 0333 323 3880

CALM. If you’re a man experiencing distressing thoughts and feelings, the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is there to support you. They’re open from 5pm–midnight, 365 days a year. Their national number is 0800 58 58 58, and they also have a webchat service if you’re not comfortable talking on the phone.

Mind doesn’t offer a crisis line but gives plenty of support and information.

Easy to say. But when you are at your lowest the LAST thing you need is MORE information even if it might seem helpful.

Unfortunately brokensoul111 unless we are given at least some basic information, it becomes a guessing game and I don't like guessing, so rather than do nothing, as I was off duty by then I gave vital information, if I hadn't I would have been in trouble!

I think I can relate to what you're saying.

I feel pretty indifferent about everything in my life except my young son.

I have no idea what I want or need to be happy, and I have no enthusiasm for anything, and feel like I'm just going through the motions but not actually living.

I feel you..I know what makes me happy and it’s my fear of losing loved ones that brings me down, I have a severe phobia of death and loss/change, I can’t even visit a new city without freaking out/becoming physically ill, I think stability is key. I do suffer from bipolar though which explains a few things, keep your chin up!
