Does anyone feel they have had a mental health issue for over 10 years without correct diagnosis and treatment?

Access to proper healthcare is almost impossible. It’s not all about writing prescriptions. What’s needed is a more compassionate holistic approach.

Hermes123.

Hi chloe, I had thoughts on and off for 50. years at the time of coping on and above with sever pain over and above normal pain, when one goes to the doctor and say to them i am in sever pain off the scale of 10. this should be a warning to Doctors to investigate further, instead of saying sorry your on the maximum dose of pain killers, there is nothing else I can do for you. patient left with embarrassment, so left to think what is the way to get out of this situation, its a hell of a situation to think though rationally. pain of that intensely at that stage is like having your life suck out of you.

Dreadful Doctors can not pick it up at that stage, should be an automatic question, how are you coping. Hermes.

I've often wondered about this Hermes123 if pain could be decided by a 0-10 scale what happens if one person has a strong pain threshold and another a low pain threshold, something not right here for sure. It's unbelievable to think that those like yourself in such pain can be denied further help like a pain group for instance?

Take care Hermes
