Hi, I was diagnosed years ago with behcets but have been very lucky since not to have too many flair ups. I really want to get a tattoo but am not sure if this is a wise move given the positive pathergy test diagnosis for behcets. I was wondering if anyone had any problems with behcets and tattoos or any advice as to whether or not I should steer clear or should not have any problems.

I’ve had no problems with my tattoos but I also don’t have positive pathergys (to my knowledge, been 15+ years since having one). I’d hold off if currently taking prednisone. Have you talked to your doctor or the tattoo artist?
Hi. I know it's been 2 years since your post regarding tattoos. I got a very large red tailed hawk on my shoulder blade. My skin wept fluid for days. Constant bandage changing. Don't recommend you get one. Why give your body a reason to create inflammation
