When we communicate with each other, we rely on much more than just words.

When we speak face to face, we pick up on tone of voice, facial expressions and body language all of which, gives us more insight as to the real meaning of what the other person is trying to say.

When we communicate online and on forums, such as this one, we only have the words without tones, smiles, gestures etc. so, how one person interprets the message may be completely different to how someone else interprets the message and indeed, both of these may be completely different to what the message's author was trying to convey in the first place......Worth bearing in mind when we contribute.
