Very informative. Personally I feel that if you know and can get to grips with your condition you my be able to sort it. Having been told you have Tinnitus by your health professional does not give you any answers This link explains the condition. Excellent P.S I did not hear T while I focused on this presentation. Food for thought.

I listened to this the other night. I also didn't notice my whistling friend whilst I was listening - strange coincidence? The presentation was excellent, as you'd expect from this chap who is probably the foremost tinnitus clinician in the UK. If I'm honest, I was bit disappointed that it veered off towards the end to talking about cancer treatment and the potential for that to cause hearing problems, but I guess that's just me being selfish - I want him to focus on my problems and nothing else!! ;-)

As he noted, T is mentioned in the earliest records of human writing etc, so it's safe to assume as a condition, it's as old as mankind. Makes it all the more frustrating that no-one's found a way to cure it yet!
