Finally getting my hearing aids!

Hi there, just had to post as I'm so excited that I'm finally getting my hearing aids this afternoon after 9 1/2 long months of severe hearing loss and tinnitus! I admit to being slightly nervous too though! Silly as that sounds. Hope this finds you all well-Bev x

Great news to read this morning.

I was so happy when I got mine and went on fine with them from day one.

If you do find it strange then you can build up the time wearing then day by day.

Well! I can hear! It's a strange feeling after all this time but wonderful, even if everything sounds a bit like robots! And the tinnitus volume has reduced by about 80% and it was loud today. Wow- Bev x

It did sound strange to me as well like you say like robot's but give it 2/3 weeks and you won't want to take them out, by the way, I've nicknamed mine my little beauties.

That's great news Bev! Mine quieten my T too. I wouldn't be without mine now and wearing them is as routine - and essential- as putting on my makeup each morning. Love, Angela xx

Thanks for the replies guys, it means a lot. I'm sat watching emmerdale with the volume on 20 when I usually have it at more like 40 😊 Got music and dancing classes and playgroup with my daughter through the rest of the week so I can't wait to see how that goes-Bev x
