I am nearly 80 years old and have had tinnitus for most of that time. In the last 20 years it has ramped up to over 60bB. I am lucky. I am able to sleep. Concentration is some times a problem, in general I use TRT to habituated and do not check in to see if it still there. I avoid talking about it as this makes one conscious of it. I will not be on this site often for that reason.
