Hydrocortisone question

It was recently determined time to begin daily oral steroids for my son. We have been prescribed hydrocortisone, but it only comes in a pill form. There has to be an easier way to get a 10 month old to take his meds! Per our doctor, we tried mixing the meds will a small amount of liquid and giving via oral syringe, but the stuff tastes TERRIBLE! I even mixed some with applesauce, but it is so bad he wouldn't finish the bite. I'm curious how you are getting your little ones to take their meds?!

Yes it is available in liquid form and given with a dropper. It can also be mixed with formula or breast milk. Here is a link to more info.
