There seems to be very little they can give me to reduce the pain - I can't take NSAIDS and

are discouraged as they can cause headaches.

ineffective? as it is reported we have limited Opioid receptors. I have certainly found this in my experience, how about you? With the exception of Tramadol, possibly due to it's Serotonin pathway.

Played "pain drug bingo" and rewarded myself with a chocolate from the tin in the office for every drug he mentioned that I've tried - good job I've steered clear of the
opioids
or there'd be no sweeties left for everyone else. Not sure my own language is very clear tonight.

Starting today with step two of 'expert patient' today with GP,
she also confirmed she did not agree with long term use of
opioids
, but reassured me using them on occassion was not determental.
