Lack of sleep is one of the worst things you can suffer from. No wonder sleep deprivation is used as a form of torture. I have trouble getting comfortable enough to nod off sometimes, and often think I should put velcro on my PJs to stop me rolling onto the bits that end up hurting. Then the other half, who breathes like Darth Vader in a bad mood wakes me up. But on a positive note, I have at least solved one problem : have been wondering why I've been waking up at odd times in the night, disturbed by strange creaking noises and feeling very warm. Turns out the central heating had been programmed wrongly to come on at 1.30am. No wonder British gas have such massive profits!

Am finding that if I get to bed a bit earlier, before Darth Vader, it helps. I think it's having a routine and not worrying too much if I do wake up.

With my condition fluctuating like a dam yo yo...my sleeping pattern isn't the best...

Is it going to level up? Well who knows, oh I wish it would...but at the moment, sleep is a definite no no...

Am going to be try some alternative remedies, will it work, well who knows but am willing to give it a try...

You would think with the meds that am on, that sleep would be a sound procedure, but it ain't.

I'm hoping that now they're highlighting this it might help gp's [and the benefits people] gain a better understanding of it's effect on our lives.

I've been told always to check out alternative remedies with the pharmacist who regularly makes up my prescription [or take a copy of your script to any pharmasist and check]

e.gI can't take aspirin, ibroprufen or nytol.

I hope things get better for you.

take care,

sandra.
