I'm a migraine sufferer and an RCA (Royal college of Art) designer and I'm developing a project on chronic pain based on my own and my family's chronic pain experiences. I research my chronic pain and think about how I can help myself as a designer and help people with chronic pain.

I used the riseup pad to create an online web anonymous notepad, a shared base for those willing to express their pain. No personal information will be displayed in this pad. So, you can express your feelings and experiences at any time, like a journal, a place to digest your emotions. Also, you can share your experiences here to help other chronic pain sufferers like you.

I never really understood my mother's headaches until I had migraines. At one point, even thought my mother was exaggerating her pain. And my mother has never really expressed and communicated with me about her chronic pain, because she is used to enduring it by herself, because she feels unable to understand, because she is worried about the negative impact on other people, and so on. It's sad, but fortunately we support and help each other today.

My experience with my mother is why I started the archive of chronic pain project. I hope people will turn their attention to this topic to research and try to better help chronic pain sufferers. I started to use creation to express my chronic pain experience, started to communicate with my mother about our chronic pain, started to hold workshops to share our chronic pain experience with people... I gained understanding, support and confidence from these experiences of expressing pain. .
