Best way to "live with pain" is WITHOUT it!

I wish I had come across this forum 3 years ago when I was diagnosed with degenerative disc in my lumbar section at only 22! The past 3 years have been traumatic to say the least, social life has almost dissipated, affecting all parts of my life.

All this happened mostly because of extremely slow NHS processes, and extremely long waiting lists, leading to me being paralised in bed for 4 month until I actually got an MRI scan for a clear diagnosis. It all followed an endless stream of possible ways of recuperation from drs, physios, chiros and the weirdest machines ever imagined, all leading to my condition worsening.

Until I tried Ozone therapy in Eastern Europe...

Quick and painless treatment, injecting ozone right around the affected disc, in a week has made me able to walk and gradually less and less pain. Today I'm almost entirely pain free (because I had to return to the UK and couldn't extend my treatment here).

Because of this, I would like to bring the Ozone therapy to the UK in chiropractic and physiotherapy clinics all across the country, to serve as an alternative to the daunting NHS process...

I'm doing an MSc at Edinburgh University and one of my courses is on entrepreneurship. That's where I made this video: media.ed.ac.uk/media/MedOzo...

I'm looking to understand whether people in the UK would actually even be interested in this.

Would you try it?

I would be very interested in anything to relieve pain in the back.

I would naturally be apprehensive about any new untested procedure and would like to hear from patients who have undergone it over the last few years.

I example you a procedure called Cartiva implant for big toe joint OA. It comes with huge fanfare and promotion, but when you dig down into patient reviews, it is not very encouraging.

So many of these interventions require massive expertise from the practitioner (but how do they get their experience, sez you🙄)

Anyway, good luck to you, and I really hope you succeed in all that you do.

Cheers.

Put the video on youtube. We can access it there. Ozone therapy I suspect is working to remove infection. Medical professions often talk about inflammation but do not consider that inflammation could be caused by an infection.

Discitis, or diskitis, is inflammation that develops between the intervertebral discs of your spine. These discs are located between your vertebrae. The spaces between them are called intervertebral disc spaces. Swelling in these spaces can put pressure on the discs, leading to pain.

Discitis can be caused by bacteria (sometimes called “bugs”), virus, or fungus. Some parts of the body, such as the mouth and the intestines, are supposed to have bacteria there. This is called “normal flora.” However, the spinal discs are sterile, and have no normal flora. The teeth have gums which can bleed and allow bacteria into the blood stream.
