Dealing with nerve pain in my right arm radiating from my neck and shoulder and feels so bad it hurts in to my fingers and I’m right handed

Hi, I am living with that on a daily basis. Mine is due to a pinched nerve in my Cervical area. I've had 2 fusions but during a shoulder joint replacement surgery apparently they turned my neck too far causing this nerve to get impinged. It affects both arms but is the worst on the right arm. My right arm is getting worse. I have talked to 3 different Neuro Surgeons. But with my situation prior fusions, they are unable to do surgery an fix the nerve in my neck.

My advice is to get an MRI? Done to see what is causing your issues. It could be a pinched nerve in your neck, shoulder or elbow. Have you had a carpal tunnel test done as well?

Sounds like radiculopathy from the foramina at C6/7. I had the same on the left side and had a C6/7 foraminotomy to fix it. I would get your doc to refer you to a consultant surgeon who will arrange for a cervical MRI and nerve conduction tests. This should confirm the problem and enable a discussion about possible surgery. I was operated on at a specialist hospital by a surgeon who only deals with cervical surgery. Relief was immediate. Are you in UK?
