Facial twitch

Had a CT scan last week and the doctor says I have a pinched nerve in my neck. Could the pinched nerve be the cause of twitching around my eye and mouth? Also tonight my upper lip started burning. Has anyone experienced this before?

Yes I get pins needles And numbness in the left side of my face because of this. But realistically a brain ct might be an option to rule other things out. That's what o had.

I had a CT scan of my head and neck. The only thing they found was the pinched nerve in my neck.

Go to GP could be start of Bells Palsy - that's a condition that affects the nerves in your face if it that you will need steroids to help you. Past sufferer of Bell's palsy didn't know only a work colleague asked me to blink my eyes and I thought I did but left eye wasn't closing all I'd had was pain behind my ear but as it progressed I had the same twitching on my lips.

Again it could be connected to pinched nerve in neck but best to get it checked out. 😁

I actually did the same yesterday. Except my eyelid and lip were twitching, too. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia by my general, RA Doctor and neurologist. But my physical Therapists feel that I have residual affects from West Nile Meningitis. I have multiple other symptoms, too. I at times scared it will end up as Bell's Palsy.

I was worried it may be bells palsy. I keep a good check on my face to make sure it isn't pulling and my eye is closing. My mother had other when she was 36. The twitching had almost stopped and I hope that means my pinched nerve is doing better.
