Hi Kidney Community! I recently had to switch to Belatacept from Tacro and so far that has been okay. But my doctors want me to switch from CellCept/MMF to Everolimus as well. I am 9+ months out from my transplant and can not find any research/studies that show the benefit of making the switch. My doctors are saying it will help but unable to say by how much. Then the side effects of Everolimus scare me. Which makes me unsure if it is worth going ahead with the switch.
Does anyone have any experience with this cocktail of medications 😅. How have the side effects been? Did your doctors share any insights on the tangible benefits of this switch?
