Do you have a thyroid malfunction? Quite a few of us suffer with painful extremities (and, indeed, other bits) and it does seem that it can be thyroid related, alleviated, hopefully, if one is on an optimal dose of some sort of thyroid hormone (natural or Levothyroxine/Extroxin). Certainly treating the individual, painful, problems doesn't seem to work. I've had 3 goes at sorting out my painful feet (once private, twice with the NHS) and really matters are no better. And the collection of swimmers' shoulders, tennis and golfers' elbows I've amassed ... well, it is the stuff of stand up comedy, really.

So good that you're sleeping better. Constant insomnia really drags one down. And all those aches and pains surely do insist you notice them when you're lying there sleeples. I do know!

Do let us know about your thyroid situation. That's what we know, here, really.

Hi, have a look at the book/website "Could it be B12" lots so reading but it is interesting.

Also look on the web site TPAUK. Both under active thyroid and b12 deficiency can cause the symptoms you describe.

Good luck
