I have just joined this blog & I'm already a member of the FibroAction and Chronic Pain blog .. I'm 23 and I have had Fibro for around 4 years. The last year or so has been terrible & I am still working with the pain clinic and GP to try and get the pain under control - Feel like I've tried so many things and slowly running out of options

Don't be disheartened, you will find something eventually I am not so lucky as I cannot tolerate a lot of drugs so have to cope without any. My "secret" just to get on with life and that there are many out there worse than myself. I have had it for 8 years now and still get a lot out of life. I have got involved in helping my community by belonging to several different groups and although I am unable to do anything physical, I can contribute in many other ways. They all understand if I cannot make a meeting so I am not under any pressure and that's so good to know.
...you have achieved so much - so well done ! Have you ever considered the underlying causes of Fibromyalgia ? Adrenals ? Thyroid ? I am an active member of the Thyroid Forum and was myself diagnosed with FM long before my Auto-immune Thyroid condition . Noticed an improvement once on treatment and even more as it has been tweaked with the knowledge learnt from others.
If you check out the tags on the Thyroid Forum for Fibro and in the directory look out for shaws who has posted most of the links to Dr Lowe. He has done more for Metabolic Illness than anyone. Sadly he died a little while ago and his website has been archived but shaws details all the links.
