After completing my C25K I decided to move to the next level and aim for 10K, I am still plodding on and now able to run without stopping for 40 minutes, which I feel, very proud of. I know many people can do that with great ease but remember I am 75, 76 in July🏃🏃🏃

Well done!! That's great!

I've finished my C25K and am in week three of consolidation runs, so I'll attempt 40 min this week. Have to say 30 - 35, and I'm guessing 35 - 40, are tougher than I thought.

Slow and steady as you go and do shake those runs up... a short one... a 30 minutes and some lovely, see where you get to runs, The longer slower runs, are the ones that build up, time and distance and yes, eventually, speed :)

If you follow the Magic plan on Bridge...the runs build up very gently and enjoyably, and you can tweak to suit your own life style too. Many of us have used Magic Plan and more than once too. Especially after time out through injury or illness.

That's brilliant! I'm almost 62 and have got as far as a few hour-long runs, though I'm still quite some way from 10k!

Keep it up and enjoy!
