Lisinopril Cough

I started Lisinopril for hypertension about 6 weeks ago and it is working very well, but I have been coughing steadily for the last 4 weeks and I think that it must be the culprit because I don't have any other symptoms, just a very persistent cough. Has anyone else in this forum had this problem?

Sadly a cough is common with the pril medications. Between10 & 20% suffer from it I believe.

Speak to who prescribed the LisinoPRIL….a cough is a well known reaction….called the PRIL cough …..to all the BP meds ending in PRIL…

Maybe you will need to change it.
