I have posted my results before from Medichecks and I persuaded my youngest daughter to take the thyroid and vitamin test recently due to her symptoms of lethargy and the fact that not only I have hypothyroidism but also her Dad and older sister. Her iron plus Vit D were all low so she is now taking a good multi vit/mineral plus has started eating meat again. Her thyroid hormones: TSH 7.72 Free T3 4.8 Free thyroxine 11.9 Thyroglobulin antibodies showed: 182 Thyroid Peroxidase antibodies:9.3.
She had a Thyroid test within the last year from her GP who flagged nothing. She was feeling tired and then so I suggested she get it done. Would you recommend she prints of her blood results and asks for it to be monitored regularly as it could be fluctuating or ask to start Levo asap? Thank you

There is no such thing as a 'good' multi-vit, by it's very nature. If it contains iron, it will block more of the other ingredients. And if it contains calcium, that will bind with the iron. And, if it contains iodine then that could be making her worse. Iron should be taken at least two hours away from everything else except vit C.
I'm guessing that the Tg antibodies are over-range, right? The top limit is usually 111. So, this suggests she has Autoimmund Thyroiditis - aka Hashi's. That plus the high TSH suggest she needs thyroid hormone replacement sooner rather than later. Doctors often don't like private tests so your GP will probably want to do his own. Results probably are fluctuating but those results are showing her to be pretty hypo. And despite the fluctuations it can't get better, only worse.
