I am wondering if its possible to split dose for example take 25mcgs in the morning and 25mcgs in the evening and if anyone has found that there are less side effects splitting it this way?
Increased to 37.5mcg (by cutting 100mcg tablet) on 13th January and then went to 50mcgs on 25th January.
I am feeling very unwell - sometimes feel like Im going to collapse, hard getting out of bed as feel so weak and sometimes heart racing and other times pulse beating hard but slow. Thanks

Have been planning to get my vitamin tests done but have been too unwell to go. Thank you, I will try the morning and afternoon/evening and see how it goes.
Rather than just taking B12, also taking separate vitamin B Complex
Then once your serum B12 is over 500 (or Active B12 level has reached 70), you may be able to reduce then stop the B12 and just carry on with the B Complex.
If Vegetarian or vegan likely to need ongoing separate B12 few times a week
supplementing a good quality daily vitamin B complex, one with folate in (not folic acid)
This can help keep all B vitamins in balance and will help improve B12 levels too
IMPORTANT......If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 7 days before ALL BLOOD TESTS , as biotin can falsely affect test results
In week before blood test, when you stop vitamin B complex, you might want to consider taking a separate folate supplement (eg Jarrow methyl folate 400mcg) and continue separate B12 until over 500
Post discussing how biotin can affect test results
If these were your results 25 days ago, then you should be focusing on optimising thyroid medication (and key thyroid vitamins) not depriving yourself of calories:
TSH 4.36 (0.27-4.2)
T4 14.1 (12-22)
TSH should always be under 2, with most members feeling best when this falls significantly under 1.
I would look to test FT3 (in addition to TSH and FT4) plus key thyroid vitamins privately, as many members (myself included) do. Optimising thyroid meds and key vitamins will really help.
