Total knee replacement?
I have RA, diagnosed at Christmas 2020. I also have buggered knees - I believe that is the correct medical term - that pre-date the RA diagnosis. At my last (final?) RA consultation the consultant showed me a beautiful X-ray of my knees. Nice bones, absent cartilage. He had previously mentioned knee

Is It worth choosing a Doctor?
My neighbour has given me the name and contact information for a doctor he said is the best in my area for
knee
replacement
surgery and said once I get a date for my surgery I can request that it is done by this doctor.

CLL diagnosis
Hello all, I have just been diagnosed with CLL, because of a blood test in preparation for
knee
replacement
surgery! I have a no symptoms other than mild fatigue. The encologist said this disease doesn’t mean that it’s the end. Some people go for years without symptoms.

Medical Cannabis?
I have severe arthritis which limits my life quite a lot, my doctor won’t refer me for
knee
replacement
until I lose more weight, and being on Rux has meant more weight gain! Obviously will need to ask haematologist about.

My question is has anyone had a
knee

or any surgery requiring pain meds and if so what pain meds have you used to get through the 2 weeks after surgery?

I had total
knee
replacement
4 weeks ago, my
knee
is swollen and my lower leg and foot is is swollen. My skin is very dry in those areas. Obviously, I have swelling because of the surgery but also because of the Lymphoedema so decided to get back to my ritual for Lymphoedema.

1 year on from heart attack and stent fitted. Still struggling.
I walked to the hospital for an appointment today, for a pre-op for a
knee
replacement
. The hospital is only half a mile. On the way back I was out of breath and experiencing pain in the top left hand side of my chest and light-headed, and I had to sit and catch my breath.

Pain Relief
I am considering a
knee
replacement
but I have been told that I could get rejected at pre op with the various underlying health conditions due Scleroderma. Any advice welcome for pain relief or managing the actual knees.

right knee replacement
It’s been a slow trip fighting arthritis on top of recurring PCA. Still on a Lupron vacation. Osteopenia cleared up after 21 months with only bicalutamide, T rose to 226, and PSA has stayed less than 0.1. I finally have a new knee! It‘s painful but every night is a bit better than the night before
