Personal Sleep PR
This is the first time I have passed 8 hours of sleep in the almost 8 years of keeping track. I usually score 80 or 81. 89 is an all time record for me. So what happened. First off, I could feel my RLS earlier in the evening. Little things were beginning to trigger my RLS, nothing strong but

Update- I no longer take Dipyridamole
I have been meaning to update the group on this. I have stopped taking Dipyridamole for over a month now, closer to two months. I took Dipyridamole for two years. I was nearing the end of my Dipyridamole supply. I was wondering how much it was helping. So I stopped abruptly. Since then I have

Why watermelon is good for us
Only 6.8% of U.S. adults have optimal cardiometabolic health, while an estimated 47 million have cardiometabolic disorders Watermelon contains L-citrulline and L-arginine, which are nitric oxide (NO) precursors; NO helps relax blood vessels and widen arteriesConsuming watermelon juice attenuates reductions

Started my grandmother on TTFD
I am my grandmother's primary care taker. I recently learned about HDT and decided to try it on her. Every morning I videotape her eating, which I will use to see if her condition gets better or worse over time. She is 87, having parkinson's for at least 25 years. In the last year her on-state dyskinesia

Good resources regarding vagal AFIB?
Does anyone have any good resources (articles, YouTube videos) directed to vagally-mediated AFIB (the type that occurs after a large meal or while sleeping)? I believe my AFIB was triggered by endurance athletics (I used to do long bike rides and probably overdid it and stressed my body too much).

I can't sleep feel like my heart is going to stop
It's one of those nights again. I feel pressure in my chest. I thought I was going to be able to sleep today but I guess not. Its frustrating because I was already falling asleep but I was awaken by a sudden jerk. Now every time I am falling asleep I get woken up by the sudden jerk that makes me feel

Selective amino acid restriction therapy (SAART)
This is a follow-on from something that came up in the "
Cysteine depletion sensitizes prostate cancer cells to agents that enhance DNA damage and to immune checkpoint inhibition"
post. Some here may be unfamiliar with the idea of selective amino acid restriction. I have never been tempted to

Amlodipine v. L-Arginine
I take Amlodipine daily, prescribed for my cardiac condition. Amlodipine is a drug which reduces blood-pressure, isn't it? so ought I to avoid taking L-Arginine, as a supplement , which would also have a B-P lowering effect? I would like to overcome my ED without using Blue Pills, you see.

Supplement Reverses Hallmarks Of Old Age And Promotes Healthier Aging
Good Morning All, I thought this may be of interest to some or many. The supplement "Glynac" (combination of Glycine and N-acetylcysteine) showed after 16 weeks of participants taking doses of 100 mg/kg/d each of glycine and NAC, was associated with a host of benefits for key hallmarks of aging and

Plasma Metabolomics Reveals Systemic Metabolic Alterations of Subclinical and Clinical Hypothyroidism
This paper does what I have long been waiting for. Takes some blood, just the serum, and do a comprehensive analysis of pretty much everything they can detect in that serum. The subjects were divided into Control, Subclinical Hypothyroid and Hypothyroid groups. They found clear differences

NMDA and AMPA are both synthesized chemicals that activate glutamate receptors, they incite glutamate excitotoxicity
This begs the question - if these are not naturally occurring substances in our body - how the hell did they get into our brains? And what can we do about it? NMDA is not an endogenous (native) substance. It's not found in our body tissue but rather synthesized as an excitotoxin for research into NMDA

Should I stop any supplements after transfer?
Hi all, Am finally getting to go through my first frozen transfer after 3 cancelled cycles (one fresh two frozen). I'm currently taking a few supplements (have been for at least 9 -12 months) but is there any that I should stop taking the day of or after transfer? I assume most are fine but just wanted

Interferon Alpha 2-a (PEG) vs 2-b,(Bes) exactly what's the diff?
IFN-alpha 2a has a
lysine
at that position 23 while IFN-alpha 2b has
arginine
." In the Besremi image here, the green part is the IFN, and this could be either 2a or 2b. Besremi chose 2b (with
Arginine

Lysine
). Does this matter, who knows.
