I have been extremely tired and getting worse over the past few months, in fact so bad that I was threatened with a sleep study. However my consultant decided to test my vitamin D levels and it was low. I am now taking 250mcg/10,000 iu vitamin D3 a day for a month. I certainly feel as though I have more

Vitamin D's Impact on Autoimmunity
Taken from Dr. Jack Kruse's website (www.jackkruse.com). I think this guy is on to something. In fact, I think this guy is on to a lot of somethings. He's not waiting for air-tight, double-blind clinical trials, and at my age, neither am I. I believe that the keys to autoimmune disorders lie in the

Hi My attacks are becoming more frequent and am having to use prednisolone more often. I have had spirometry tests which were not too bad considering I have been asthmatic for all my life and a heart scan which was fine.I have had some great help from members regarding my absences from work and pressure

Vitamin D/Calcium or Alendronate (Fosamax)
Have you been put on
AdCal
D3
, Fosamax, Calci-Chew or anything else. It is always good to know what the current trend is. If you know your T score and degree of bone thinning it would be interesting to discuss that too.

indigestion and remedies
I've been getting a bit of what I think is indigestion (never suffered that way before, but there you go) so I grabbed some antacid tablets in the supermarket today. Then when I got home and read the packet I found that a) they are calcium carbonate, so basically the same as adcal, so maybe I should

He has mentioned it before to me and I've seen bits and pieces on the internet but apparently its a big break through which could affect

D'oh Vitamin D
This week I've mostly been looking like this picture of Homer. After too much laptop work I buggered up my back muscles. Note to self - heed those twinges! However, a recent trip to my GP did unearth some good though a) it is muscular (phew) b) I did actually need another vitamin D injection (my last
