I quietly join this forum, due to my mom's and sis. diagnosed of stg4MBC.this month, mom 's journey peacefully ended. Family and friends honor her, after her discharge from weeks of in and out the hospital (she decided to do hospice and we respect her decision).
We had tribute for her while she was able to laugh and able to respond to family and friends, thanking her kindness and her impact to their life and community. This forum helps prepare me to help her with the challenges and side effects of treatments and her to cope emotionally and that she's not alone.
Thank you all, as I always tell mom every time there's a new symptom that she's experiencing from such and such meds. and I would let her know of this forum and how such symptoms appear and responses I read to her, and it gives her comfort that she's not alone.
Again, thank you for this forum.

What a wonderful tribute you shared with us. In this community we hold hands with all those sharing our love and pain. MBC is ferocious and unrelenting in the way it attacks us when we think we are safe. We are never safe once we have cancer.
We have a large community of medical professionals trying to crack the code. Every day there are new advancements.
Thank you to our medical heros who work tirelessly on a cure.
