Today is a grey miserable day with high winds. I am really missing the outdoors. I have an umbrella ☔️ but it wouldn’t stay up in this wind. I will have to dust off the Wii machine I think and do the excersises I have on that. I’ve got to get these bones moving otherwise I will ache all over. Crazy but true. Have a lovely weekend ladies. Week off my Ibrance next week so I will have a few glasses of wine, I won’t care about the weather then. Keep smiling. Here is another photo from our Norwegian Fjord cruise. Just breath taking.

Where is the sunshine
We've had the same weather all week. It's hard to keep the spirits up being stuck in the house in this dreary weather. I'v been doing lots of gardening and dog-walking and there's been none of that this week.
Sooooo, are we not supposed to drink wine while taking Ibrance? Asking for a friend😏
It’s my choice really. When I asked my Oncologist he said it’s ok to have the odd glass. I’m not a drinker anyway but I like a glass of red occasionally. It’s worse when you can’t have it. I get a craving. The literature I was given said no alcohol so,Imtook it as gospel. Everybody is different of course. Some of our lovely ladies don’t worry about the odd glass here and there. Take care and bottoms up xx
Hot here in Iowa. Daughter bringing her family to play in pool. Will welcome then, then retire to air conditioning and watch from window. No sun for me, and no touching - I'm immunocompromised!
It will be great for you seeing the family. Will raise your spirits no end. Have a good weekend.
Hi Cheryl,
What a lovely picture! I would like to visit the Norwegian fjords. So it's nice to get a glimpse into what it looks like over there.
I must say I actually prefer the weather we have been having this week. I have never been a fan of hot, muggy weather, so the cooler weather has been very welcome this week for me. But I can also see how grey, dreary weather can get people down. Having said that, I'm the sort of person who has a big grin on my face the moment the clocks go back and the nights start drawing in! I like to feel cozy and tucked in, rather than bask in the sun.
Have a good weekend!

I don’t mind it either Sophie but it keeps raining. As you know we have the allotment and can’t go because it’s to wet. We did pop out to one shop earlier. There’s no one around. I got back and I’ve had a hot water bottle since. I like to be cosy to. I hate the weather we had recently. That boiling hot weather makes me feel sick. We always plump for cooler climes when holidaying. Hence Norwegian Fjords and Iceland. Much nicer than the beach. You must try and go. It’s beautiful. Have a good weekend. Looks like rain again so you will be cooler.☔️🧚♀️
Yes, the boiling hot weather was too much for me! I wasn't able to workout as much and I found it hard to function. I just have no energy when it's hot. I love Iceland too, which is why I have been two Januarys on the trot! I would be happy to go back a third time. Sorry you can't go to your allotment. But at least it will be watered if it rains over the weekend. I'm not sure what I am doing tomorrow yet. I might go foraging for cherries. I picked a few pounds last week, and am now out.
We know someone with a Cherry tree. She gives us loads but haven’t seen her lately as she works in Research for the NHS so as you can imagine she is very busy. I love Picotta cherries but they have a short season. I’ve only seen them in supermarkets. Wouldn’t it be great to cross paths in Iceland. We went November. It was freezing but the scenery is unbelievable then. Seems you enjoyed it as much as we did. The Blue Lagoon was great. They took us there before our flight home. Really relaxing. Enjoy your cherry picking.........👍🍒🍒
My husband and I spent about an hour filling four tubs (10lb) with cherries this afternoon. The extra week has helped ripen them some more. They are now a deep black and taste nice and sweet. I'm not sure what variety they are. Yes, it would be nice to cross paths in Iceland. Iceland is stunning in the winter! I stayed at the Grand Hotel in Reykjavik both times I visited Iceland. It's a great hotel. I visited the Blue Lagoon the first time I was in Iceland, but I found it too crowded and commercialised, so this time around I visited the Fontana Wellness centre during my Golden Circle tour.

I was gonna say, the weather doesn’t look miserable until I read your last sentence and it said Norwegian Fjord cruise😄
Bless. Something I’m guilty of as well xx
Another fantastic picture.
I was meant to be going to Norway on Thursday 9th July. Ah well maybe next year.
Clare x
It will still be there Clare. We were supposed to go to Krakow in May and Italy in October. Both cancelled now. So upsetting as we love to visit places other than UK. Feel we have exhausted that for now. Oh well is all we can say.
Oh well indeed. Your photos are great at helping me imagine I am in those countries.
Keep dreaming of foreign shores

Just beautiful!! We could use some rain. Enjoy the wine and have a glass for me. Blessings, Hannah
Thanks Hannah. I will raise a glass to all our lovelies on here xx
☀️Hope the sun shine again soon for you, outdoor exercise is so much nicer. And thanks for sharing the pictures of Norwegian cruise. Looks amazing!
Cheers 🍷
Rain is here today again. Never mind. Can’t last forever. We love the outdoor life. Walking is one thing that is satisfying. Helps my joints as well. Glad you liked the photo.
Take care
Beautiful picture! And I’ve used the Wii fit before...nice exercise program...I also use YouTube...I like Les Mils Body Pump...
The Wii even tells me if I have put on to much weight. Makes you work harder. Best I have at the moment. Better than nothing. Have a good weekend.
Good news is the sun will return! Hope you get a whole week soon. Lovely picture. Fjords are beautiful.
Cheers, June S.
OMG, Cheryl, your photo is - as always- spectacular! And inspiring! Norway's been on my list for a long time...I NEED to get there, birthplace of my grandmother, who likely gave my sister and me the gene that caused cancer! But we don't blame her, of course! .
Be well, Lynn
Lynn you must try and go. With climate change everyone notices the difference in the landscap and environment. It’s not the cheapest of places to visit but you cannot put a,cost on the beautiful scenery it offers. We,really want to,do,it all over again but not sure about the insurance. It’s compulsory on a cruise and could be costly. One day you will make it. I expect your Grandmother was wonderful.
Enjoy Sunday.🌸💐
Thanks, Flowerfairies2! You've just moved Norway to the top of my list! All we need now is a vaccine! :). And, yes, I'm sure my grandmother was wonderful, died much too young, but I've been lucky to inherit a few of her traits, not just medical!
