Hello warriors !! Well still on ibrance and letrozole along with getting my zometa once a month. Oncologist says i cant have surgery on my breast due to tumor has shrunk,and due to my 9 lesions on my spine, Also found another one on my sternum and left lung ( small) said nothing to worry about. Confused ,but not losing faith.

When I was diagnosed, in 2004, at stage IV, with bone mets only, I was told that a mastectomy would not improve the outcome for me. I did have a lumpectomy but I have invasive lobular bc and clear margins were impossible. It's good news for you that there is measurable tumor shrinkage! Don't hesitate to ask you onc questions! I have gone into appointments with written questions that I want to be sure to ask and get answers for! lol And if you have not seen a bc specialist onc, getting a second opinion from one could be helpful. Your own onc should be quite willing to refer you to a bc onc.

Hi Bubba_6 ! I'll be keeping you in my thoughts as you and your doctors figure things out. Totally agree with PJBinMI about writing down any questions you have to make sure you get the answers you need. Here's hoping you get the clarity you want <3
