I’ve spoken to a GP this morning (not my usual one, sadly) about my restless legs having returned since taking sertraline. She mentioned other antidepressants as an alternative but all of them are listed as having restless legs as side effects.
She suggested halving the dose. As I’m only on the lowest dose. 50mg, I wonder how much effect this will have on my anxiety sate and also will the restless legs reduce in severity.
Has anyone any similar experience?

It's difficult to control both RLS and depression as most SNRI and SSRI medications trigger RLS. I take a small dose of pregabalin to counter opioid induced anxiety. Have you ever tried pregabalin for your anxiety?
I would also advise you to check your bloods. Raising serum ferritin above 100, preferably 200 can help both RLS and anxiety.
I mentioned these to the dr but she was reluctant to change anything as she’s not my normal GP. Hence suggesting halving the sertraline. I was just wondering if anyone found half a dose reducing restless legs at all.
I shall be speaking to my own GP but not for 3 weeks.
