Does anyone have experience of being told verbally that they were being recommended for CHC funding after the dst but then it being refused by the panel?

Hiya, Yes sdadly lots of us. Devastating isn't it? It's almost as if the panel are wearing blinkers and earplugs. If you look back on past posts there is a great deal of info on how to appeal especially from Kevin_1. Good luck and big hug AliBee xx

Hi AliBee, it hasn't happened yet as not had the written confirmation but my Mum's consultant said that it's not certain yet. It's like a rollercoaster, one hurdle after another.

Hi val yes I was told by the doctor to go for it but when it came to it I was told he was not ill enough, Christmas he fell and broke his hip which made p.s.p worse because of laying so long waiting for chest infections to clear up. When he finally came out of hospital it was taken out of my hands as by then he is bed ridden and unable to do anything. I was then lucky that I just had a phone call to say chic was granted I do not have any idea how but it is needed. Hope you get there it is much needed by all, I live in Essex.
