Hi, Fellow Caregivers,

just found a great resource-Toolkit for Caregivers: Tips, Skills and Wisdom to Maximize Your Time Together by Deidre Edwards. It also has a second book within the first Love Lives Here: Toolkit for Caregiver Survival.

The author breaks down information into understandable parts, sharing what she has learned to enable us to navigate the often overwhelming world of caregiving. She bases her knowledge on her own experience caring for her husband.

There is no publisher or published 2019, but she has a website that provides free downloadable and printable skill sheets that go with the book. htpps://deidreedwards.com/index.php/tk4c-bonus-materials to access them

ISBN #9781089732907 available on amazon.uk for 12.99 (uk) ,

amazon $14.99 (us)

For instance she covers, hospital beds, commodes bowel movements, eating, drinking, positioning bathing, taking care of yourself, activities to stimulate, soothe and so on.

I usually do not recommend books but this is great for any new caregiver and helpful to those of us who have been taking care of loved ones for a while.

Hi Bojszi,

First of all, thanks a lot for sharing this wonderful book suggestion with us all here. I'm working for a housekeeping company known as Housekeeping Co (You can check here - housekeepingco.com ) and being a person from the field of housekeeping and caregiving, I'm sure it's going to work for me and many others like me doing their profession around.

I think I can suggest this Deidre Edwards book "Toolkit for Caregivers: Tips, Skills and Wisdom to Maximize Your Time Together" to my friends as well as the price is affordable for a useful piece like this.
