Hello

Have not written for a while as things got a little crazy....dad had a uti which led to urosepsis and a 10 day hospital stay. Now his home and bedbound but comfortable. After so many difficult sleepless nights for him we have found the right combination of sleeping tablets that give dad at least 8-13 hrs sleep each night. He actually wakes up not agitated and refreshed. Although he is now paliative care i have the correct amount of support carers 4 x daily....tremendous help and caring. Dad cannot speak but we manage to communicate in our own way. Cruel disease but i never leave his side he will pass being comfortable clean pain free and most of Loved xxxx i love my dad xx

That must be a tremendous relief for you all!

It is good you can still communicate in a way you both understand. Says a lot for your connection with him.

Exactly how it was for Chris.

It will bring great comfort that you could communicate with him, keep him comfortable and make sure he feels loved.

In the end it's feeling loved that matters the most.

You and your dad are blessed to have had each other. You've done a good job.
