I started experiencing light bleeding first & gradually with every day the flow kept on increasing. Now I have to change 4 pads a day & today I released this big clot with the bleeding. I consulted the midwife & they just did a scan 4 days ago & they could see heartbeat in the scan. It was reassuring then but today after seeing this big clot I'm really worried. I talked to my Indian Gynaecologist back home & she suggested some meds. Sadly I'm not able to get these here in the UK as they don't prescribe any medication for this situation or progesterone injections to support the pregnancy. All that I'm being told is to monitor the bleeding & they will call me for a scan after 10 days only. What should I do ? Does this look like miscarriage? I'm really worried & just tired of monitoring.

I think it's probably best that you contact your midwife and see if you can have another scan. I don't think anyone on here can tell you whether you're miscarrying.Sometimes bleeds can be worse heavy and the pregnancy be fine and sadly sometimes it's not.
I hope your midwife can get you checked out as soon as possible, best of luck xxx
Hi, really sorry you are going through this, not knowing is awful. It’s hard to tell from the pic but I lost 2 pregnancies the sacs were a white/ grey colour. Are pregnancy tests still positive? I had spotting for 2 weeks straight for my last pregnancy (twins) though wasn’t that heavy early on. I did have a big bleed at 29 weeks and passed a big clot which they believe was from my cervix bursting a blood vessel. It really can go either way with bleeding in pregnancy and I’m sorry that’s not very helpful. Hope everything is ok. Rest as much as you can and maybe watch some funny/lighthearted box sets on Netflix to take your mind off it. Xxx
