Methotrexate again

My Rheumatologist talked me in to to taking met injections, I never learn I have been so ill in bed for for 8 days, being sick eating nothing.Not any more, I am down to 15m Pred the lowest so far, I still have a horrible taste in my mouth and I have lost nearly 3 stone since Christmas. What do I do next

To lose that much weight since Christmas should be ringing alarm bells all over the place! First of all, if this is due to the methotrexate injections - stop them now. Then make an urgent appointment with the GP and discuss the weight loss.

you need medical advice asap. Hope you can get an appointment but that is a large weight loss. Good luck

I would definitely be making my way to see a doctor with that sort of weight loss.

Whilst we are all different, that does sound like quite an extreme reaction to MTX. Combined with your rapid weight loss, my advice like others, is to see a GP as soon as possible.
