Intense groin pain

Thank you everyone for your comments. My surgery confirm OA and general wear and tear of hip and yes I understand about referred pain in the groin but I have no other pain in the hip area at all and I am completely mobile, so am still confused - on the positive side I have an appointment with my requested GP on13th April. I can wait until then and will have tapered to 8mg prednisolone by then so all positive. Thank you again everyone.
