Still fighting lower back pain….it was much worse a few months ago, but still, it is painful to sit for any length of time. Just wondering if sacroiliac pain (pelvis and down side of my legs) is common with PBC. All of this is new to me, an athlete who never had previous problems!
Thank you all for your tips on back pain, too! I liked the soak in the tub!

I get a lot of sacroiliac joint pain but with stretching and using a website diyjointpainrelief.com has made it much easier. The website is free and shows you techniques to help. I also use Homedics stretching mats which helps a lot. It’s not particularly comfortable, but it releases the muscles in the back and pelvis. Hope this helps because I remember what it was like.
thanks for the link.... everyone needs to be sure it's ok to do any exercises before starting any programs. Glad you are finding relief. Moving is medicine.. stretching is so important to all of us.
Sitting can be the worst thing ever for sure..... any degree of exercise can make such a difference. When fatigue is an issue, any amount -no matter how short - of exercise can make a difference. I know even doing my water aerobics, we always do some stretching at the beginning and at the end of the 45 minutes class.
THANK you so much, ladies! I am going to go to that website. And I do play Pickleball, though not as much as before, walk, and while here in Florida I did water aerobics. But some days, it’s hard to push yourself out there! Thanks for the encouragement!
