After my recent ninth Covid jab (second time with Moderna), I found I had reactions (have always had none before, lucky me). First I developed the grandly named"Covid arm" which was nothing much, just a faint, occasional itch around the jab area which disappeared after a week. Then, for about a week, I had electrical shooting pains at night in my limbs (neuropathy symptoms). And then fatigue. That's all about a month ago. I still have the rare involuntary limb twitch at night and a rare mild electrical shooting pain.
I am 3 years since diagnosis 4b, carbo taxol, debulking, and now 4 months finished with a 2 year Olaparib course.
As a result of all the cancer treatment, I developed very heavy legs, poor balance and what my onc. has diagnosed as proprioception neuropathy, which means I walk like a drunk and use a walking stick.
The legs were getting slightly lighter and easier to manage before the Covid jab, but now are heavier and less well controlled again which I suspect is the Covid jab causing the neuropathy to wake up instead of lessen.
There are some reports on google of nerve disturbance after Covid jab, but probably pretty rare.
Anyone else had neuropathy exacerbated by Covid jab?
And I salute all you wonderful ladies!
