Well I've done it I've seen my 16yr old get his GCSE results today and he has made me a very proud mum, he's done well and starts his A levels in 6th form in a few weeks.
Now I need to see him settle into 6th form and his new routine etc make sure he is happy secure in what he is doing if that makes sense. Feeling content and happy.
How fabulous. Well done. It's an inspiration when our children achieve especially under the circumstances and I feel shows how well they as individuals are able to cope with it all. Something well worth celebrating
That's fantastic news. I'm delighted for you. I worked in a secondary school and this is the first year for 21 years that I've not been really involved with GCSE results day. Seeing the proud mums and dads and excited students always brought a tear to my eye. Jo x 🌻🌼🌸💐🌺🌹👍
Me too - my daughter got her results today and I'm very proud, especially as I was in hospital pretty ill with a bowel obstruction when her exams started.
Well done to your son and here's to many more milestones!!
