Has anyone with osteoarthritis in knees try a personal knee massager with red light instead of knee surgery? If so did it work?

Hi Rainyda

I haven’t tried the personal red light massage for my knees, but I bought a red light pad for my back, which I think is helping a little with the pain.

Hi Rainyda I’m also interested in this I bought a book re red light therapy & it seems to work great for Fibromyalgia. I was looking into buying the full red light panel but I’m still not sure whether to or not?. Be careful what you buy though & ensure you read lots of reviews before making that decision. I spent a lot of time researching & not many really came out trumps & of course we are all so different. Like you I’m struggling with my knees & suggested now I look into FKR, I also looked in to PRP which I have researched no end & now realize it’s not right for me. The last consultant I paid to see, re what options could be possible putting off surgery?? & he did tell me my knees are beyond PRP, but told me about a very new treatment that’s being trialed on humans that has been used very successfully on race horses for many years previously & it’s really proving positive results. But there is a price to pay for it as it’s so early stages. And way make sure you do your research before parting with your money. 🌸

Hi, I was advised by a professional, it's a waste of money especially when it's given for the knees. I figured as much, because I've had joint problems (osteo), purchased tens devices at physio, but was never offered these types of devices to purchase. I was going to try one as long as a refund was guaranteed, but, changed my mind. Sorry, not the best info, but it's all I have in regards to the knee massager mentioned. Good luck with whatever you choose.

Hi, I'm good to hear it worked for him. I'm decided to try the hyaluronic acid. Probably next month, I have to check with surgeon re preparations etc. I get my covid vac on the 3rd, anytime after that. Thanks for the info. 👍

I sustained a knee injury 6 weeks ago and I purchased a tens machine to control pain. What a great investment.

Knee not as painful.

But still scared to use crutches as i am concerned my knee will buckle and i will fall.

Any advice. X

Maybe try a Knee sleeve...I found it very helpful. I got one from Amazon. My knees require more now, that's why I'm going to do the hyaluronic acid; I'm trying to avoid knee surgery. Good luck with the tens.
