Has anyone had problems with their perineal nerve and is it related to RA. I knelt on my right knee and the outside of my right knee hurt like I was leaning on carpet burn. I lifted my pant and and there was nothing there. It has been about two months now and I can't put any pressure on that area and if I do I get this burning sensation that takes about an hour to go away. It came shortly after I started on leflunimdie but this maybe just a coincidence. Anyone had this sort of experience.

Having arthritis (either RD or OA) of the knee joint might make it more likely to impinge on the peroneal nerve, but in a mechanical way because of the extra bone formation/ swelling etc. But not as part of the disease process. Have you talked to the medical team including the physio (they are often better at this sort of problem)?
