OCD and ADHD

I have joined this community to attempt to better understand and support my teenage daughter. About a year and a half ago, my daughter was diagnosed with OCD. Since then, her intrusive thoughts have been managed with Prozac and therapy. We have fairly recently discovered, now that the symptoms of her OCD have lessened in severity, that she also has ADHD.

I was wondering if there are any other parents out there dealing with similar diagnosis' for their children, or if anyone has personal experience in managing both conditions at the same time.

Thanks,

J.

We are recently dealing with the same. We were told not to give ours stimulants because it could make the OCD worse. We are going to try executive and ADHD coaching this year.
