My Dr secretary rang the hospital. They haven't got enough staff to read them. Even if my Dr. Rang for results they still would have to wait for someone who can read them . I'm getting an appointment to see a Dr. At the surgery asap as the swelling is bigger, pain still up all of leg. And behind knee has started to hurt. Right leg has a small swelling coming up. So no more asking dexta scan for results, been 6 months since done, and a year since seen Dr. In the first place. Since been told have MPN and ET. So wish me luck some answers soon

Dexta still no results
This is no longer just about luck getting answers. It is about requiring adequate care and not accepting unacceptable responses. Six months to read a DEXA scan is absurd and absolutely unacceptable. I would be wondering if they even still have your scan to be read. I would insist on having the images made available so that if necessary you can go private to get your results.
Given that you have an emergent issue with pain and swelling in the leg that is getting worse, the time for an answer is now. This may or may not be related to the DEXA scan results, but you have no way to know. Hopefully, your appointment with an orthopedic specialist is soon. Given that you are experiencing acute increase in pain and swelling, an Urgent Care appointment would be indicated if your appointment is not soon enough.
Hopefully, you are already actively consulting with a MPN Specialist. Bone pain is a MPN symptom that can be quite significant. Input from a MPN Specialist will be critical in finding out what is going on.
Assertive patients receive higher quality care. Passive patients do not. We must be our own best advocates. Suggest that it is time to be very assertive in advocating for yourself. There is assistance if you find that you need it.

Wishing you success in moving forward.
This sounds like complaint time is overdue. I believe you are in Wales and the NHS link that Hunter sent seems to apply to NHS England only.
Maddeningly I can’t find a similar link for NHS Wales but try this one which comes from Cardiff and Vale Health Board and maybe they can put you in touch with your local PALS office.

You could also search using your local hospital name and PALS. (Patient Advice and Liaison Service.)
Here is another link for a service set up by the Welsh Government that could be useful.

I hope this helps.
