The only side affect i had was grinding my teeth when i was asleep
Hi Chrisey, I take this one and once weened on 3 years ago, it became more effective than previous medication of same type. I also take Gabapentin, Tramadol, Paracetamol, Amitriptyline and importantly Lansoprazole (to protect the stomach). I don't have any side effects from any of them and never have, but as I've said before I may just have a cast iron constitution. As the others have said, whatever you shouldn't just stop any medication.
We're all different - but this drug did me a lot of harm.
Yes, I am on Venaflaxine and have been since 2004..not sure what side effects you are experiencing, but I have been on it so long I am not sure what it is supposed to be doing..! I am also on amitriplyne too both I take in an evening before I go to bed! I will also add that sometimes the side effects that are listed on your medication does not always apply to everyone...The so called possible side effects are only what they state 'possible side effects' that you may experience. I should talk to your GP or specialist about your fears and maybe they will discuss your concerns about Venaflaxine.
