PIP tribunal outcome

Hi everyone & hope all are doing as well as they can be :) A few months ago I asked on here for advice following a rejection for PIP from the DWP & I then put an appeal in waited a very long time for the appeal to be heard which took 15 months to happen.

Unfortunately during that time my condition has gone worse since I now have Addissons disease and diabetes which further prolong the fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis.

My appeal was successful but I have been awarded the minimum daily living component with no mobility even though I struggle to walk more than 5 minutes due to the new health conditions.

I was told my claim is only awarded on based on the circumstances I had when I first applied 15 months ago & that if I wanted to I could apply for PIP again on the new health conditions.

My claim has been awarded for the next 2 years but I'm feeling very apprehensive about applying again especially since DWP rejected me twice and I had to go to court.

I don't know if I can appeal or reapply as as I don't think I'll be able to handle the stress if I got rejected again and that could prove dangerous for me with the Addissons disease.

Sorry for the long post but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for reading :)

I used Benefits and work for all my PIP claims no trouble even when I had to do a MR the information in the help advise sections was invaluable in my understanding and subsequent submissions for a change of circumstances.

Unfortunately you can only appeal the tribunal if an 'error in law' is found. You'd need to ask HMCTS for a Statement of Reasons & a Record of the Proceedings within one month from the date of your decision letter for this to be looked into.

As advised, if you make a new claim, which is what it would be like, then do get some advice to see if it's felt sufficient points may be awarded to change your current award.

I couldn't go through it again, I have 5 chronic incurable pain conditions, severe anxiety problems and really bad insomnia, I had to go to tribunal once but when it changed to PIP they took it away. I couldn't do it again. It kills your soul.
