so my body is pissing me off as my face is at one ex stream and my feet at the other. As my feet are freezing cold they feel like ice blocks when i touch them even with socks on as i am currently wearing bed socks. They have even gone more paler than the rest of my body.
Where as my face on the other hand has gone really warm. My cheeks have gone red, my whole face feels really warm when i touch it. my eye lids and ears have become itchy as they have become too warm.To which i just dont know what to do because afraid that if i try to cool my face down it will make my feet even colder which i dont want.
So has anyone got any suggestions as to what i can do?

I'm sorry you're having to go through this. Interestingly, I'm getting just the same symptoms as you. I am wearing my bed socks right now and my feet are cold and feel like they're lacking in blood circulation. My fingers are cold and slightly numb - causing reduced mobility in my hands and discomfort, and my face keeps getting hot.
I'm not sure what else I can suggest other than natural remedies - like you could try warming your socks up on the radiator (obviously not whilst wearing them, new pair of socks that get heated and then you could change into). Splashing face with cold water, that kind of thing. If you have some paper you could maybe fold into a fan and wave in front of you afterwards, that's a really simple but effective cooling strategy for me when it's hot in the summer.
Hoping some of the volunteers etc. will know more about what's causing this and maybe have the answers. Sorry I couldn't help more.
I know how you're feeling: here's a comforting (((hug)))
Hi there don't know much but I do know is if you can rub your feed a little to help increase the circulation and get your feet up in the day when you can this helps the heart circulate easier as the feet are the farthest away hope it helps some
Hi have you been to your GP? I too have the same problem and was told its Raynaurds which affects your hands and feet (small blood vessels spasm) you can get medication to help. Also with Fibro it can affect the Hyperthalamas in your brain which one of its functions is to regulate body temperature. Best to get checked out. Good luck xxx
I had this last winter its all part of fibro unfortunately
Some people get mild moderate orsevere ssymptoms I am unlucky and get severe. Oddly enough I don't suffer from depression which some gp do try and link
thanks for you replies everyone. I havent been to see my gp yet. I have had college today so i have been not able to go thinking i would be able to mange a day. Though it didnt turn out that way as I end up poping down to see the college nurse as my feet where still cold, i felt like throwing up and i still felt warm but not as warm as last night. To which they took my temperature and told me it was at normal. To which i was like why do my feet feel like ice blocks and all the nurse could say was its cold outside you should wear thicker socks as that might help but there is nothing i can do.To which she told me that only a gp could do something. So I am off too see them tomorrow as they are still cold and to make sure its nothing more than just fibro.
my foot has been like that for the past 2 months i can only walk on one leg as ive lost the movement in my right leg and it swells up as well i took pictures to show the doctor the swelling and also when i pressed with my finger it took nearly 30 seconds for the thumb press to dissapear off my foot now that it bad circulation so its like you seanto x i hope you manage to get some relief xx
hi sorry to hear about your foot. hope it gets better soon. I have been told that my cold feet are a result of my Hypothyroidism and that by upping the dose of my pills it should make my feet better. Well at lest thats the what the doctor told me so i'm hopping it will do just that.
