financing iui/ivf using donors

Hi does anyone have any advice on how to finance iui/ivf? I spoke to my GP who told me same sex/solo women have to finance the first 8 rounds of IUI privately using unknown donor sperm before the NHS will help. I’m 36 so too old to get discount at private clinic (via share), am aware the sperm banks are also costly, could people share their stories please? The cheaper option would be adoption but I would like to try for a baby

The clinic I used (use) include donor sperm in the IUI package. Happy for you to message me privately with any questions.

I have funded mine in part by taking out a loan, and if needed, will take out another.
