Just wondering if anyone has had a BFN on OTD and gone on to get a BFP?
We’ve just had a FET cycle, test date was today which was negative - however in the protocol from the clinic it states test date is 16 days after transfer but they told us to test today which is 13 days after.
I don’t know if I’m just clinging onto hope, but we have done one fresh cycle previously which was unsuccessful - I got spotting and usual pre-period symptoms a couple of days before the test date and was full flow period on the test date so was no surprise. My period came after 31 days and my usual cycle is 25. This cycle I am on day 36 and no usual pre-period symptoms and no bleeding.
With the last cycle because of the stims, I had side effects all over the place. This time haven’t really had any until the last 5 days needing to pee more and breast tenderness.
My gut is telling me to keep taking the meds for at least a few more days and test again, but the clinic seem convinced a negative result today means there’s no way I can be pregnant. Wondered if anyone’s had a similar situation and what your thoughts are. Not sure if I’m just being delusional!

was it a 5 day blastocyst you had transferred? If so, I sadly think at 13DPT a positive would show up as that’s the equivalent of being 18 days post ovulation in a natural cycle.
My clinic does the OTD 9DPT and if it’s negative they tell you to test again at 11DPT but to stop meds if still negative at that stage.
Having said that, of course anything is possible in pregnancy, so if your gut is telling you to keep taking meds and try again in a couple of days then do that as you’ll then have the reassurance you need and won’t ever doubt you stopped too early.
Yes it was a 5 day blastocyst, thanks for the info, that’s really helpful. I think I will test again in a couple of days for peace of mind before stopping the meds.
Hi lovely. I'm afraid it's very unlikely. My clinic used to say that you would get at least a faint positive by 10DPT if you were pregnant. Obviously there's no harm in keeping up the meds a couple of days, but I would try not to be too hopeful.
