probiotics

I have been reading a lot on probiotics helping with recurrent implantation failure. I have contacted fertilysis and also researching Emma/Alice test. Just wondering if bacteria is found, which probiotics did people use and did they have any benefit. We are having a 3 month break before our egg retrieval to try and get in the best place possible with our health. Wondering if I should try probiotics without having the mentioned tests?

I did canesflor without having any tests (got a bfp that round but later miscarried) it looks like that has been discontinued lately so I will be looking for an alternative ahead of our upcoming FET in a few months. I also took oral probiotics from Holland and Barrett. I thought ‘what’s the harm’ they are good for you either way xx

I haven’t had any tests. I used canesflor before transfers 5 and 6 still BFN. But who knows if they actually cleared something up? I also started oral probiotics ahead of transfer 5. Then switched to Optibac oral probiotics ahead of transfer 7 and BFP. But, thinking it’s more likely the fact I’d had oral probiotics for 3 months by that point.

I’d say start on oral probiotics now then after 3 months they will definitely be in your system x

I’ve seen the optibac ones mentioned quite a lot. I will order some. Will try anything at this point. Which ones did you use? Xxx

Yes I am still taking them. They do a pregnancy version so once I run out I’m swapping to those - pink label x

I left it too late to test and decided to use probiotics anyway. I used canesflor vaginal probiotics and also took women’s fem-dophilus and got a BFP

I did a round of Canesflor and then took a daily oral probiotic specifically for vaginal microflora called Optibac. Worked for me - got a BFP that cycle after several failed rounds prior.

I also used canesflor vaginal probiotics ahead of my successful transfer, as well as Biogaia oral ones. Very best of luck!
