Severe flare at work

I just need to rant. Not that typing will help with the pain but I'm just in so much pain I need a distraction.

I'm experiencing such an intense 'endo' flare right now which unfortunately came on after I had already arrived at work. I took 2 x Nefopam tablets when the flare started but these take 2 hours to kick in if they kick in at all - it's evident now that 2 wasn't enough as it's been 3 hours and they haven't touched the pain. From experience I can only take 3 tablets in one go if I'm at home as they space me out considerably which means I can't drive or do anything remotely productive. Now stuck in severe pain for the next few hours until I can go home and take 3. Can't wait for the bonus insomnia this evening - that's a nice cherry on top to look forward to from the tablets also.

Pretty sure my flare was triggered by a fantastic evening (if you know what I mean) as it's not time for Aunt Irma's visit (period) and my daily pains are not usually this horrendous. Luckily I have an understanding OH.

If you're also having a bad day, I want you to know you're not alone. Endo sucks.

Hi how are you feeling? I hope things did ease by now. It’s amazing how much pain it causes.

Thank you :)

It was a really bad day - the next day was also pretty bad with stabbing pains that were making me jump. Brain fog was a bit of an issue at work but luckily haven't needed any drugs so far today so that's a plus.

Hope you are well.
